Who Am I?

Everyday, when my daughter Ekaete wakes up, I ask her "how are you? What did you dream about? Who are you going to be today? What are you going to accomplish?"

At eleven weeks old, she can't answer me. But that's not the point.

I'm sending her a bigger message: always dream, remember who you are and always work to be better.
Today she can hold her pacifier in her mouth. When it starts to come out she can push it back in...

And so it occurred to me that if I'm asking her these questions because I want her to dream, have an identity and always work on improving herself, I should be doing the same.

That's the purpose of this blog. To share with readers who I am, my dreams, and those things that I need improve. Afterall, I can't truly expect my little girl to do the things I expect of her if I'm her biggest fan but not her greatest model.
